(Mirza Abdul Rahim) A meeting of the District Jail Health Council was held in the District Jail under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner General Haider Abbas. The meeting was attended by Superintendent Jail Haq Nawaz, CEO Health Dr. Kiran Irshad, District Health Officer Dr. Iftikhar, Medical Superintendent DHQ Dr. Khaliq Dad Niswana, Deputy Director Social Welfare Atif Ali Warraich and other members. The meeting reviewed the provision of medicines in the jail hospital, improvement of the laboratory and other medical facilities. Other issues of the jail were also discussed in detail in the meeting. The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the decisions taken in the previous meeting. Additional Deputy Commissioner Raja Haider Abbas said that the main objective of the meeting of the District Jail Health Council is to provide the best and quality medical facilities to the prisoners in the jail hospital and to resolve other issues.
